A WALK IN TRINIDAD'S BAMBOO PARADISE !!!

In the Tucker Valley in Chaguaramas is the Bamboo Cathedral, a 1 km stretch of roadway where the bamboo stalks bend towards each other above the road. Their tops form arcs reminiscent of those found in cathedrals.The “Cathedral” has remained the same for over 150 years. Cazabon Trail meets the main Tucker Valley Road on the way to Macqueripe Bay. The trail leads to a satellite tracking station overlooking the bay. This site is on the Heritage Asset Register which is the official list of Trinidad and Tobago’s historic sites that are worthy of notation and preservation.
