Barbados Relaxes Rules for Cruise Passengers

The Adept Traveler September 7, 2022
Many cruise lines have been relaxing their health and safety protocols with a notable exception that the rules for any port visited can override the cruise lines policy. One such popular island on many Caribbean itineraries, Barbados, has announced that they will be relaxing their port entry guidelines for cruise passengers. The island will no longer require a negative covid test to enter the country. They have also eliminated previous excursion limitations, so travelers visiting Barbados from a cruise will be allowed full access to the island. Travelers disembarking from a cruise with the intent of staying overnight will still have to complete the Immigration Entry and Departure Form at least 72 hours before arrival. Unvaccinated cruise travelers are not yet welcome in Barbados.
