From Traditional local dishes to international flavours from all around the world, which makes St. Maarten - St. Martin one of a kind. In Episode 03, we’re going on a food adventure, to eat some delicious 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐄 food from a restaurant on the island that is located in a unique place on St. Maarten. Above Belair Community Center in Cay Hill. It is called Switi Surinamese Restaurant. You simply can not get a more authentic Surinamese experience that an Switi. It is a family run business and they cook with love. They also provide catering services. Like we always say, go and discover it for yourself and you too just might get hooked on it just like we did. While you are there, make sure to also not miss out on their amazing Nasi Kuning and the Chowmein Special. Not to forget the Bakabana and their amazing Loempia. Wash them both down with their homemade drink called Orgeade (raw almond drink). If you want a drink that packs a punch, ask for their Ginger drink. Also home made.
