GUYANA BORN CHEF HOPING TO TAKE GUYANESE FOOD, CULTURE TO RESTAURANT IN TEXAS

Guyana-born chef, Tavel Bristol Joseph has travelled to Guyana with his restaurant team, aiming to explore the local culinary scene and soak up all of the richness of Guyanese food and culture. During a press conference on Wednesday at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, Joseph said that the team’s experiences in Guyana will subsequently influence the menu and operations of Canje, a new restaurant he is opening in Texas, in the United States.
