GUYANA EYES ‘AMAZONIA’ SANDALS RESORT, PLANS TO CAPITALISE ON NEW UK DIRECT FLIGHTS

Guyana is an attractive tourism destination and President Dr. Irfaan Ali believes that the country could capitalise on this, especially since there will be direct flights from the United Kingdom (UK) soon. And to capitalise on this, he has called on members of the diaspora and the private sector to collaborate and build the world’s first ‘Amazonia’ Sandals resort in Guyana. This resort, he explained, will combine the all-inclusive, luxury experience that Sandals resorts are known for with Guyana’s ecotourism offering.
