Rich Soft and Moist Pound Cake | Ghana Pound Cake

INGREDIENTS 500g of self raising flour (When using plain flour add 1 1/2tbsp of baking powder) 500g of butter 300g of castor sugar ( you can also use white sugar) 1/2 cup of evaporated milk 6 large eggs 2tsp of vanilla essence 1/4tsp of food coloring (Pink) 1/2tsp of nutmeg NOTES * Bake at 180 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes but please check your oven settings and adjust the temperature. Your can check if your cake is baked to perfection by using a tooth pick or kebab stick to poke through. If it comes out dry and clean then your cake is baked.
