St. Maarten String Band Medley with Lili Forbes: Florida Folk Festival 2024 Highlights

Lili Forbes (with Shanice Richards and Yohan Henry) plays a medley of songs one might hear at Carnival on St. Maarten. Videography and Editing: Dominick Tartaglia Lili Forbes is a singer-songwriter based in Tallahassee. She was raised on the Caribbean Island of St. Maarten in the Dutch Antilles and spent her youth between there at Curacao. Lili was selected in 2023 as the Florida Folklife Artist-in-Residence, performing the music of St. Maarten and the surrounding Caribbean islands at schools and local venues across Tallahassee.
