Suriname | Overlanding the Guianas - Country #39 to Visit All Countries

In this video, you'll see and see my adventures in Suriname which is my country #39 in my quest to visit all 193 UN-recognized countries around the world. My time in Guyana is the most insane travel experience I've ever had in my life. I ended up taking a van to Georgetown from Lethem and turns out the driver that drove me and the passengers were a smuggler. He was caught by a police checkpoint in the middle of the jungle at 2am at night leaving myself and the other passengers stranded. We were attacked by mosquitoes that lay an egg inside your skin and if you scratch it off, you'll have an open wound for a week. If you don't scratch it off, then the eggs will hatch. The only way out of this jungle area was to get lucky and hitchhike the next morning.
