Maarten and here I will detail all the things I was able to fit in my 3 days. I would definitely say you need more time since the cities are currently on a curfew. The arrival into St. Maarten was a very smooth process. There are several steps you must complete before traveling to St.Maarten. 1. You must have a negative COVID test 120-48 hrs prior to departure. 2. You must complete a health screening at least 12 hours prior to departure. 3. You must purchase COVID health insurance for $30. It was easier for us to print our documents before leaving home and present them to customs. You must have a negative COVID test to return home. The labs open at 8 am and close early. They are also closed Saturday & Sunday. The city’s current curfew is 11 pm. So it’s best to start exploring early to ensure you get the most bang for you buck during your stay! Restaurants You must Try: 1. Jan’s Kitchen - the best Caribbean Food. They’re known for their oxtails! Their hospitality was amazing. It’s a family owned business and everyone made us feel like we were coming home. 2. The Palms- don’t leave without trying their Famous Drunken Ribs! The staff was amazing and the cocktails great. 3. Little Jerusalem - Their spicy shawarma was perfect for a light lunch. 4. Pizza Italy - We went for the Gelato and returned several times for the Pizza! Again the staff was superb!
