VEE VAULT LUXURY CABINS

#staycation #trinidadandtobago #caribbean The structure at the Vee Vault Restaurant & Bar is nicely built and simply decorated to create a warm feel. Whilst advertised as housing 5 persons there is only one king and one queen-sized bed and an inflatable plushy chair to sit on. This space can only sleep 4 in our opinion. It's beautiful both during the day and especially at night with window seating, warm lights, and an outdoor patio. Sleeping, however, at this Airbnb was particularly tricky as the outdoors are continuously lit at night and there aren't sufficient blackout features to counteract that, particularly for anyone sleeping in the upstairs section. The downstairs area does have sufficient curtains to block out some light but as they are white it still allows the space to be too bright for sleeping. Thankfully, we did have a sleeping mask in our bag to facilitate that needed darkness to rest. The beds despite everything are comfortable and the selected air fresheners keep you relaxed. The washroom is decorated nicely and there is sufficient bath tissue, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cotton rounds, and ear swabs but does lack an extractor fan to get heat and scents out from the washroom and the main space. In the package of 5, you do get breakfast, lunch, and dinner and unlimited alcoholic drinks except for beers. The food was good and tasty enough having large portions but we do think the flavours of the meats could improve for the lunch and dinner options. Out of everything the stewed beef and coconut-crusted shrimp were enjoyed the most. Also, the cocktails are MASSIVE. Whilst advertised in a very enticing way, we found the jacuzzi to be very small and didn't expect to see a portable pool with questionable structure available for guests. Please bear in mind that construction is still taking place and these things are subject to change. In conclusion, we did have an okay stay at the Vee Vault. It was particularly great to wake up to horses grazing just beyond the patio. We were able to walk along the premises and enjoy the fruit trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the journey for what it was. Our 5-person stay costs $2400 plus a $500 security deposit. Prices at quoted in $TT.
