Why should you ride the speed limit in Trinidad and tobago?

Random speed check by the Trinidad and Tobago police service. Our speed limit on most parts of the highway is 100Km/h. The penalty for driving over the limit is getting fined and now there is new demerit point system that will revoke your drivers permit.
